Steven Muzzillo is one of the behind-the-scenes forces ensuring that Callagy Recovery’s IDR submissions don’t just get there—they get there right. As Communication & Filing Co-Lead, he manages vital correspondence between our teams and the Independent Dispute Resolution Entities (IDREs), as well as CMS and other regulatory bodies, ensuring that deadlines, documentation, and compliance standards are always met.

What makes Steven exceptional is his blend of technical expertise and process accountability. With a background in IT, he applies a systems-based mindset to the fast-moving, detail-heavy world of medical billing disputes and No Surprises Act compliance. He understands that when you’re submitting hundreds of cases a month, consistency is a competitive edge—and a moral one.

Steven’s drive to deliver excellence is rooted in his personal “why”: family.
