Deanna Scalia joined Callagy Recovery in February 2024, bringing with her a strong foundation in family law as a former Matrimonial and Child Custody Associate Attorney. She began her journey with the firm as an Associate Attorney, quickly taking on the critical responsibility of managing Federal Surprise Bill surgeon claims. In this role, she reviews offer submissions and determines appropriate demand amounts to help secure fair reimbursement for medical providers.

Now serving as In-House Counsel, Deanna is driven by a deep commitment to justice and advocacy. She believes in Callagy Recovery’s mission to stand up for medical providers in their fight against insurance companies. To her, it’s about making sure clients recover the compensation they rightfully deserve for the care they provide.

Deanna’s work is inspired by her family and a passion for lifelong learning. She thrives on challenging herself to step outside of her comfort zone, both professionally and personally. When she’s not advocating for clients, you can find her enjoying a good book, solving crosswords, or soaking up the sun at the beach.
